The Total Contact Saddle is a lightweight, versatile treeless saddle that fits any horse, of any size. Placing the horse and rider in total contact with each other, it creates a unified riding experience and bond. The perfect saddle for horses who are hard to fit a conventional saddle to, and for riders who seek greater connection with their horse.

The Total Contact Saddle is made with a high quality synthetic material by English Master Saddlers, using English stainless steel new design "swing bars"for the stirrup attachments and metalwork for the D-rings.

The Synthetic Total Contact Saddle is available with long or short billets. The body of the saddle is the same in both styles, meaning both the short and long billet saddle fits all horses and rider whatever their size, it’s purely down to your preference if you want to use a normal girth or a dressage girth.

Long billet

On the long billet saddle, the measurement across the back of the saddle from the second hole on one girth strap to the second hole on the other is 54"  137cm. Please use this information to decide which saddle will suit your under girthing length.

Short billet

On the short billet saddle, the measurement across the back of the saddle from the second hole on one girth strap to the second hole on the other is 38” 96cm The billet/ girth straps end about 5” below the under flap. Please use this information to decide which saddle will suit your under girthing length.

The Total Contact Saddle Seat Pad has been thoughtfully and scientifically  designed to be the perfect partner to your Total Contact Saddle. 

It is available in Black Equi-suede or Black Synthetic leather. They have two handy D rings either side for carrying saddle bags.

The saddle seat pad is designed to disperse pressure over the spinal area. It has been designed in mind for the slighter, elderly, dippy backed, high withered, shark finned horse, but equally works well on the chunkier more rounded horses. If you have prominent seat bones then this saddle seat provides protection for the horse.

For the rider this seat pad will give you more rider stability and a small twist.

Like the saddle, the seat pad is one size and fits all horses and all riders. There are three toggles at the front of the pad that can be attached to the TCS D rings. This adjusts the size of the seat, ranging from 16 inch seat through to an 18 inch seat. The saddle seat pad measures 17" from the middle indented front to the back.

The pad is sculpted to a seat shape incorporating a small cantle, using layers of foam, the top layer of foam is a resistant layer for pressure dispersal to give maximum comfort for horse and rider and eliminates any pressure at all from riders who might have prominent seat bones.

Please note you are buying just the saddle and saddle seat pad, you need to add your choice of saddle pad to out under the seat pad, leathers, stirrups, and girth.
